[ Ever since he died it felt like things moved along so quickly. The truth cookies had made things chaotic at best, but he'd been trying to act reasonably normal around both of them to avoid stressing them out too much...

[ They aren't in the same cabin, which sucks, but he's seen him around. He really hopes it's been relaxing for him. ]

[senjuro... is stressed at all times, and that isn't muichiro's fault. but yeah, silly funny summer camp where nobody can actually get hurt is a decent break from all of that. he beams brightly and waves as muichiro comes over.]

I am! I like that there's a bit of structure, but no real pressure... Are you enjoying yourself?

[ he gives a little hum! It's been difficult for him to loosen up, honestly. ]

For the most part. I'm not very good at socializing so my attempts have been a bit stilted. The activities are fun though.

[ That and the adults tend to patronize him and it rubs him the wrong way. ]

I think you're good company. You're just a bit reserved... but so am I, so it works out.

[his smile softens just a bit, because he can't tell if he's being too much at the moment.]

Do you want to try something together tomorrow? Something active? Swimming, archery... Or crafts?

I've stuck my feet in the water, but not actually gone for a swim. It would make for a good stretch! Why don't we meet between breakfast and lunch?

[he's poking a couple of marshmallows onto some skewers and handing one to muichiro before he demonstrates. time to activate his cooking neurons.]

Well, the precise cook is up to you, because it's subjective. Some people enjoy a slight burnt taste or a still springy marshmallow. Personally, I find that low and slow achieves a crispy but unburnt exterior and a gooey interior, and the even heat throughout is enough to partly melt the chocolate as you're assembling and eating the sandwich!
